Athena Medical was founded by Dr. Vasant Chheda in 2006. Prior, Dr. Chheda served as Chief of Anesthesiology at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital for over 10 years. There, Dr. Chheda designed the first on-demand anesthesiology practice of its kind and wrote its protocols. Since then, his practice and protocol has treated over 800,000 patients.
